Clouds over Tenerife

View at EarthSky Community Photos. | On October 25, Roberto Porto captured this glorious image at Teide National Park on Tenerife, the largest and most populated island of the 7 Canary Islands of Spain. The cloud-shrouded mountain in the distance is Teide volcano, an active volcano and the highest point above sea level in the islands of the Atlantic. Its most recent eruption occurred in 1909. Thank you, Roberto!
