Researchers to spend a year trapped in Arctic ice

They're calling it the biggest shipborne polar expedition of all time. In October 2019, the icebreaker Polarstern will drop anchor at an Arctic ice floe, with some 100 researchers on board. This international group of scientists will spend a year trapped in the sea ice, studying the Arctic.
