Mars dust storm in motion. This animated sequence was compiled from images of a storm captured by the VMC over a period of 70 minutes on May 29, 2019. A new study, which used declassified images from spy satellites, shows that glaciers in the Himalayas melted twice as fast from 2000 to 2016 as they did from 1975 to 2000. Read more and watch a video.
