Barnard’s star – 2nd closest star system to Earth – has a large proper motion, or sideways motion, on our sky’s dome. This image shows it, from 1991 to 2007. Now, this very nearby and famous star is known to have a planet! Image via One-Minute Astronomer.

Researchers walk back major ocean warming result
